The script AVirCAP (aka CodeRed & Ninda Hunter) is a Security Systmes script (web page security / password protect).
AVirCAP 2.0 (also known as CODERED Hunter) is a package designed to monitor the netwrok for CodeRed and NIMDA type of activities. It is possible to set up several sevrers and have a central report repository that collects all reports. Now Supporting Reports by EMAIL, ON-Screen, CSV flies uploaded to FTP and pure SQL reporting.
You can get extensive in depth reports about each and every ofefnding host.
AVirCAP is designed with huge corporate networks in mind which concsit of several subnets and where the need of several monitor activity reports are gathered into one place. Its possible to modify AVirCAP to monitor for other activities as well.
The haert of the system is built with Apache 1.3.20, MySQL 3.23.32 and PHP 4.0.6. In common with PHP-triad its usable as a developer platform as well.
